How do. Quick one

When my ignition is on horn works as it should. When I turn the ignition off, horn comes on.

Any ideas?

probably wear to the rubber steering doughnut at the base of the column, its got metal internals that become exposed and this can mess with the horn since it's earthed or powered ( i forget which) along the column itself.

Horn has a permanent live feed to it. The horn switch earths it as can the flexi if worn.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, Work of the devil them leck trix

Live goes to horn, comes out the other side of horn and goes up the column outer tube.

This is then earthed by the horn button when you press it.

The horn button gets its earth from the column inner which earths through the steering box back to the chassis.

Likely suspect would be the isolating insulators at the top and bottom of the outer column tube because earthing this tube will cause the horn to sound.

Another suspect would be if your outer column tube is mis aligned, allowing the peg of the steering lock to touch the tube and earth it to the inner column.
