LED Strip

I used something similar, but without colours and you don't need the mains to 12vDC convertor (you can buy cheaper without it) - just attach direct to 12V via a switch (and fuse). works really well, though the adhesive backing was not much good, had to use extra glue.

Kicks out loads of light and very discrete when off...

I've fitted LED strips too. I bought a 5 metre length and cut it to suit. When you cut the strips you have to solder on another +ve and -ve wire which is a bit fiddly. I switch them using a four channel remote control which works a treat. The controller only cost about £7 from ebay.

I'd like to get some led lights but can't find ones that run off the 12v leisure battery, would someone be able to post a link to what is needed ?
Thanks !

I've bought loads off eBay, came with click fit connectors so you could cut yo suit length wise and adhesive backed...... Were for buttons too

I agree that there are loads but how do the light strips attach to the battery / 12v socket ?

Fitted mine today.

I did it with a switched earth.
This is the same way as the original interior lights and helpful if you want to incorporate the door switches too.

Wiring, if it helps...
+ve connector of led strip, to leisure battery, via a fuse.
-ve connector of led strip to earth, via a switch.
