Hey guy's and girls, I'm thinking about fitting a JK propex heater and need a leisure battery / split charger, 12v fuse box / cigarette lighter sockets etc fitting. JK sell all these bits but I wondered if anyone knows of anywhere better to get all the bits I need? Also where is the best place to get a leisure battery?.. and am I right in thinking the higher the amp hours the better?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There are other ways of doing it but this what i am going to use

Maybe its not what you want but maybe it is :D

For when I need heating I've decided......

Either to be cold, stay in the pub as long as possible, or for the cost of cable, an in line rcd, and a USA westy plug that I'm better off with one of these.....

(A low wattage oil filled radiator)

Saves all the fuss of extra batteries with a limited life, a low output dynamo and complicated cabling. In summer I don't need to carry either the battery or heater - so stays stock

A little off topic perhaps, but same result just different approach

Probably not the most useful answer but batteries are the one item I get from Halfrauds, as you can walk in any branch in the UK, if they go wrong.
I usually always have electric hook up & keep a trickle charger on it.
Just my thoughts.

I agree there are loads of cheapo crap batteries out there, I went through two £50 batteries in two years. Suddenly the £100 for the RAC battery with 5 year guarantee looked like a good investment!
