hi to all
been looking at front beam on van and cant see any adjusters on it
it has been lowered a bit but not enough :evil:
when i take it out it all feels pretty lose under there not tight at all
what should i be looking for?
did they used to cut the front beam and weld(old school)
just wondered if anybody had any info on this
i no most of you are into your low riders 8) 8)
this is going to be my next task so more info the better

could be that its been cut and turned, should be able to see some evidence of welding, can you get a photo of your beam?

Where in cardiff are you?

Well I actually thought it was one of these

The nut near the centre could be the original grub srew and nut for locating/securing the leaf springs??

Judging by the welds, my guess would be its a cut-n-turn..... but wire brush it all down and take some closer pictures of the centre sections of the top and bottom tubes and then post them up again as most likely someone will be able to tell for sure....
