matching awnings?

just out of interest, has anyone had a go at making their own awning using the poles from one they have so it matches their van? I've just finished making the poptop canvas in a custom waterproof fabric n was thinking if a matching awning would be cool.........(or just a massive ballache if i had um)

Sorting out a matching sun canopy at the moment, they used to make some awnings in red & beige which i would love to get hold of. Camping and matching rules! :wink:

im looking at a Munich Awning, its been used a few times but like new, it perfectly matches my Chainti Red. I was holding out for the right colour... sad i know

I've made a red and white stripey sun shade to match the Dormobile roof canvas (Tarp from ebay, poles from an old tent, and figure of 8 awning strip)
