Ok guys i wonder if you can help.
i have a 1972 bus - a crossover. i am currently making a brand new wiring harness and have come to a dead end with wiring up my indicator stalk.
i have seven wires coming from my indicator stalk and going from the wiring diagrams i have i should only have 5.
wire
1 - green/black/white
2 - green/black
3 - black/white
4 - brown
5 - brown/white
6 - grey
7 - grey/black
i have wired up wires 1-5 but am unsure where the grey wires are meant to be connected. if i turn the ignition key i can test all of the indicators, high beam and they all work fine.
also, i have a bizarre probelm with my indicator warnign lights on my dash. when i turn the ignition on the bulbs light all the time although very dim. then, when i use the indicator stalk or hazard switch the light flash on (brighter) and off (completely off). then when i cancel the indicator the warnign lights come on again but dim.
i have tested the wires and i have them all in the right place according to my wiring diagram.
any ideas guys?
