Well I've been off to Cornwall for the day yesterday and come back with a two litre type four and a six rib box. I'm not really sure why I bought it so what to do now? Needs heat exchangers and it should be good to go. :p

Ozziedog,,,,,,,, seemed like a good idea at the time.  ;)

Aren't there all different types of T4 Heat exchangers?

Its the 1700/1800 engine vs. the 2000 engine that differ, I think. Its the way the copper exhaust gaskets mount/fit but I can't remember exactly.

Yes, we has a pair of lovely solex carbs and the original type air filter that goes with them. I`ve just found these heat exchangers at a well known supplier for twenty quid each so that`s not too bad is it.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Well that`s what I told my Mrs :msn4:  :msn4:

£20 each!

That's a bargain!

No mate, no mate no. I made that up to make myself feel better for a bit and I said it out loud so Mrs Ozziedog would feel the love and not get too stressy as well. ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, It`s just pretend,

£20 will get you the gaskets I reckon! :D

Seriously, like Justin said, once its in and done its a great engine for a bus and will be a good move.

We wont mention the fuel bill
