I just sold my '66 so-42 and bought an early bay.

I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Here it is before I got it.

After a day of swapping wheels/tires, adjusting and fiddling:

Now she's in the garage.

Hi,

Welcome along to the forum, always nice to see another Pearle White Westy!

Interested for some information about your pull out awning, how is it fixed on? I'd love one myself, and I dont think i have seen one on a westy before?

More pics!! :D

Cheers!

I agree. This thing rides like a Cadillac! -will make an excellent daily driver and weekend camper.

I think there's something about the early bay front beam that makes them so comfortable. Whatever it is - I like it.

Sold my '66 Westy to buy it. I've been prowling earlybay.com for inspiration. ;)

I've been busy. I pulled the motor and replaced/ repaired:
Heater boxes
Flywheel main seal
Oil cooler seal
Intake seals and boots
Degreased and painted all tins
Degreased motor
Motor mounts
Body to engine seals
Fuel lines and filters
Changed oil
Adjusted brakes
Welded and repaired rear upper shock mounts
Here's some pics of the progress

Nice van! look a lot like mine. Do you have any pictures with the awning unfolded??
I'd also like a pic of awning as I want to try and find a similar one.
Great van mate!
Cheers Paul.
