well after an amazing weekend at vanfest my brain is pickeld again with the choice of wheels for the bus!has anybody got any pics of brm5spokes on a early?also opinions and pics wanted...the bad point is ive got a 71 so narrow 5 stud pattern and staying that way for a while!

thanks

Only my own opinion but stay away from BRM's if you are narrow 5 they just look a bit shonky,

I'll dig out some pics,

My Old bay panel on narrow 5 with shonky BRM's

and My 69 deluxe on wide 5 BRM's

sorry my ugly mug ruins another wise great pic

but you see what i mean about narrow 5 BRM's

I run 175/55's at the front

and as big as i can get away with at the rear, 205, 70's fit on the Erco's I have but the BRM's due to the offset i can only get 195, 65's on the rear

With a standard rim i think about a 155/55(maybe a 165/55) on the front should give you a flat side wall, a low enough profile to give you the look you want without removing all comfort, if you go as low as 45's just be aware you will have no extra absorbance of bumps from the tyre's the only ride you'll get will be down to your suspension set up ;)

Rear's you should easily get a 185/65 on a standard rim but prob even manage a 195/65

Hope this helps rather than hinders the situation!

im running 65's at the mo and they are fine but saw a bus with 45's the weekend!all around and i think i fell in love with tyres!!
