Hi Finally time for the MOT Thanks to Hunter for the welding and Jon and Richard for fixing my problem with indicator.
Here goes lets try to add pics.

Wheel now removed as i prefer VW badge.

And on charge for tomorrows MOT was supposed to be today but refused to budge in the snow :lol:

All been Waxoiled so hope for a couple of yrs at least

Think its a tense time for anyone who has a classic is MOT time especially when its your first year with the vehicle but i will let you know what happens with the test. I have so much ideas and this site doesnt help :roll: just making me want more but im sure many of you will agree that it has to be an ongoing project every tear do a little more. this year i plan an interior maybe more basic than the future may hold but with all i need, definately lowered if funds allow and change colour maybe thats still not properly thought out haha.
Mot first though or my mind wanders :lol:

Here is a wee update of what iv been up to with the camper lots o work been done but still not finished but are we ever haha.

update continued wanted to know if i was doing it rite with pics so here goes....

Loft insulation is not a good idea guys as gets damp and holds water against your lovely metal work. :roll:

All removed next on list noo.

New engine required as lots of play in the end float i knew very little about Aircooled scene before i got my bus but this was a big mistake not checking this before purchase....always read up before jumping in folks.

Out with the old

Next time to look at interior

How i got it bare in the back with loft insulation removed only.

Painted with metal paint for extra barrier against the dreaded rust

Now to dig out some of the coach lines that have been smoothed over with filler

repainted not a pro job but keeps water out

Interior time as summer fast approaching

Floor in now for the first attempt at units and bed

This was just starting to take shape nicely when i realized that when inside the camper i couldnt shut the slide door for the cooker unit :evil: after some beer to release the anger we looked at other ways of doing this and decided easiest way was to start again :roll:

comming along nicely you have probably noticed not a home made bed this time but a Rock n Roll

whilst my dad was getting on with the wood work i had a chance to change a few bits to more my style on a budget..

Got my badge at last work still on going. want much lower, alloys and interior finished but all takes time so how she looks now...

Cheers mate. im thinking the colours to match on the cupboard doors will be good so trying that. just cant wait till its done got 2 weeks till Volksfling so better keep at it
