I took the lifting broken laminate off & stuck on a good bit I found, not quite tall enough but it'll be hidden by the roof above the tailgate any way!!(hopefully) :|

More varnishing on Saturday .

The board under the mattress??
Just little self tappers, couldn't think of a better way :|
Why, have I dropped a bollick??

No idea mate!
Just looks dead neat and isn't going to shift around. Your hard work on the cards is giving me some good inspiration! 8)

Phew!!!!
Thought I'd made a faux par (?) there !!?!?

I just drilled holes on the tops of the ridges & screwed little self tappers in, only short ones!
They have a wide pan head on them, but don't stick up too far so as not be felt through the mattress or click the fabric, in theory  !

I brushed waxoyl under it first before fitting especially around the holes I drilled.

Hi,

Looking really good, I was thinking of putting wood strips on the rear mattress part, you know, a little like the loading bay of a pick up say. Though yours looks good. Do you have any soundproofing under the wood?

Very nice. I sent back the panels i bought, they just didn't fit, wrong holes etc. I'll just redo from bare panels and make my own like you have.

Look forward to seeing more pictures

Cheers,

Alistair

Glad you all like it!!
I tried a gloss roller on the panels I did last night, didn't use anywhere near as much varnish, bit late in the day to learn that mind  then I dragged the brush over it when it was still wet, looks nice ! 8)

I'll put the pics up to prove it later as am away oot on the drink with flat4 dubs noo!!! :party0041: :beerchug:

A window in :party0010:
Not the easiest thing to fit neither mind!!!!
Took 2 blokes 4 attempts & over an hour to get in!!!!
I've pulled muscles I forgot I had
Only time in my life I've ever wished to be taller
As I balanced on a stool vigorously kneeing the top corners of the window for effing ages!!!! :sick0010:

Anyhow, tis in noo, I had to get that one fitted so I could crack on fitting the interior!!!
