 gee thanks gents

I had grand plans tonight for more progress, until!!!

A customer came to pick his car up & said nice job but what about the back bumper!
Ian my business partner showed him what we had agreed to do & wrote down in the diary.
The customer said the damage may not have even been there at time of estimate, BUT. The car is going back to Audi at 9:45am, can we repair & paint the back bumper NOW,!!

So we did, but no time on the bus unfortunately :(

Never mind There's always tomorrow !??!?!!

Hangover impeded progress

Started on the wardrobe,

Re glued the laminate,

Made a new shelf for the bottom bit & put a new back on,

The black trim was all shapes,

So I heated it up n stretched it,

Then I fitted this aluminium trim on the corners as the black trim was missing & the laminate was lifting up, I think it looks canny??

Also fitted some 12v sockets with a USB thing to charge phones n iPads n stuff.

Also got given 2 free boards, sourced a 3rd locally, different shade/ type of wood :(
But hopefully once the cherry varnish is on it'll not be too noticeable :?

Offered it up, but needed to alter the front to move it forward 10mm so as I can get the next one to screw to the roof support bar too :D

Are gonna source some of the J channels that a Westy uses for your roof lining

Ok cool, if you do it's worth waxing the channel and boards for when you slide them in.

Making a wooden headliner is a lit bit difficult :| :x

Reet, it's all got to come out again yet to varnish & fit insulation to the roof.
The last pic is of a wooden strip which covers the join, but I think I've done it wrong as it should be slightly curved  so as to match up with the roof support bar that I'm screwing it to!!
But as I've drilled the holes already , if I can't get it to secure properly, I might have to start again by cutting new boards :( :?
