Well first thing the bolts are a different size to the ones in the big flywheel.
So I don't have any bolts :(

And the holes don't line up with the clutch!!!

Well I think the clutch (210mm) is the right one for a 1700 gearbox, but I reckon the flywheel might be a 1800 one????
Cos it just seems too big!!!

Bloody hell mate you are having some serious bad luck with this.

It's the time factor, ticking away that's annoying me!!
But you always ask for bother buying a non complete bus!!!!
I'll get there man!!????

Rather worryingly, I had to send Kat's dad to exchange the wrong flywheel we got the other day  :?
But,,

He got the right bit!!!!!! :D :D

So it's in, had help this time mind!!

Really need to get this bus running, MOT'd & registered ASAP!!!!!!
May need to invest in a couple of bottles rum ??? For a certain person???

Good effort mate those big type 4s are pain in the arse to fit, so heavy

Towbar is being a twat now, so I'm gonna leave it off, get it running & get it round the corner for MOT.
Then I can start trying to get it registered :?
Then finish building it up after like!!!

3 weeks to do it!!!!!

In the words of Bob the builder, can I fix it???,,,,,,,,,

Well the towbar wouldn't fit so,

Apart from the tailpipe like, that took a load more modifying and :x to get it on!!!

I had the use of Darren's new ramp for that mind!!

Also found somewhere to mount the new electric fuel pump.

baceb195b04afe0ad6fc1637b1d8d791.jpg

Of course this is now in the way of the heater risers etc, so will require more work to make everything fit together nice!!

Oh & I snapped A good 10mm drill bit altering the tailpipe and nearly broke me hand!!!!! :p :p
AND my torch has vanished disappeared ran off gone!!!!
So I borrowed a snap on one off the garage over the road which I've dropped & broke!!
Cool eh???

Cheers squareweave, it took me from finishing "work" at 5pm till after 11pm, just to get the towbar on!! !!!
Don't think I'm gonna hit me deadline, AGAIN,!!!!!?
Especially not if the new UK registration process is as ridiculous as I've heard it is!?!??.

Nice one Lee.

BTW you need some sort of rubber damper between the fuel pump and chassis otherwise the vibration will drive you more nuts than you are

You can buy proper rubber mounts on fleabay or just make yer own ;)

Really???
That loud??
I can reach it quite easy on the ramp so I'll see how it goes before I put a rubber mount under it just yet???
