Spent most of Saturday on the bank, some quick cars but the Golfs :shock:

Might of been a small Earlybay line up but looked good.

On way back yesterday I noticed my speedo wasn't working so this morning took the wheel off to see what the crack was!!!











Speedo cable was shredded! :|

Is this easy enough to replace? any tips for me please...

Any advice on doing the beam swap? ,I'm gonna be doing mine to the same setup pretty soon

Advise on the beam swap would be don't cut costs as it stings you in the arse! (And ends up costing loads more.)
let some one with knowledge of a perfect set up do it.... or you will spend most of your time perfecting it rather than using it! :oops:

Slamming mine Messed my summer up a bit and still not right at the rear end. (Started it in January!)
you can go so low... then leave it to the experts as its something that has to be cock on... no questions.

Don't let this comment put you off just making you aware of how it is dude.

After Bouncing back from Breeze thought id have a look to see what the crack was...



Came to the conclusion its riding on the driveshafts therefore no travel on shocks.




took the opportunity to start taking the old stone chip off to see if I could find any nasties....








So far so good.

Next time I'll abandon the children and get there on time.

Oh and if I new someone was looking at it I would have dropped the air out of the shocks!
