Just took my tail lock apart looking for numbers on the barrel ! Only numbers I can find are on the handle, are these the ones that will get a key cut ? Also the thing on the screw coming out of barrel is just floating about, is that right ?

Hi
I recently had a key cut for mine, they cut the key from the number that was on the handle. Can't remember the operating end of mine looking like that though.

Cheers for that ! Just took the slide door handle off and the same number is on there. 6 numbers and the odd letter. With any luck there all the same only this bus needs a lot of love and there probably cream crack'ard :(

Hi,
just got home today and have my new keys. I ordered these up from EBay, a company called MB Lock Tec. They cut the keys from the code and it cost £4.99 per key, p&p is free, I think it took approx 2 days from ordering to delivery.

Typically the code will be mad up of 2 numbers, one letter and three numbers e.g. 47 K 123.

Happy days...

And me ordered ordered my key on Tuesday and arrived yesterday, tried it today and result it fits all the locks including the ignition on the valley electric panel van, very happy

Should my barrel have such a long screw like that, I don't know, never had one before :?

Got my keys, slide door works, won't turn drivers or passenger door. Maybe stuck or different locks but can't get lock off due to being parked near wall and brick pillar with no gear on the back yet can't move it. Back door key goes in turns 180 deg key comes out but still opens. Might it be the small alloy thing on the long threaded screw being loose ?
