Looking for an interior light to go in the back of the bus. Don't really like the standard motorhome versions offered by Just Kampers etc. Does anyone know where to get a more retro/ stylish version, maybe with chrome effect. Fluorescent or standard bulbs, it doesn't matter, just something in keeping with the style of a bay. I have seen some but can't remember where!

Thanks in advance!

I had a catalogue sent to me from Dormobile UK and they have couple of strip lights in there. Im planning on getting two of them, one at each end of the pop top opening in the roof.

B&Q are seling led strip lights that are battery powered for a fiver, they look retro as well.

Look at some lighting shops or Ikea and the likes, you tend to find sleeker less utilitarian units for sale.....
I went for these in the back 7 colour options offer a real nice subdued light for when antonys tucked up in bed, or switching through the seven...

I like them, how did you wire it in? Have you a switch somewhere in the back?

I've not yet, still not sure whether to run off the mains or leisure, but its just a matter of running it from whatever and switch of choice....

hi mate i have looked into this to and if you want to run lights off your battery you are best to go LED as they use approx 5 times less power than halogen, i think fluorescent is somewhere in between.

I ordered two spotlights and two strip lights from here they have a great range:
