new to forum - 1971 double cab

thanks for letting me in folks..
I have owned a 1971 DC, Neptune Blue and cloudy white colours for past 3 years after having a 73 Squareback, 69 tintop and a 71 Westfalia..
It has a standard 1600 engine and interior is in great condition..

Am in south of France 15 mins from Nice/Cannes

Holy smokes, that is a good looking crewie. Sounds like you’ve had most of the fleet yourself. Have a nice big welcome too !

i got the rear tonneau made locally here and apart from some basic maintenance not needing to do anything.. i spent 4 yrs looking for a decent one and found this in Gran Canaria, Spain.. had the chance to buy another at same time but just went for the one and that took 2 days on a ship to Cadiz and then 2 days driving across Spain back to Nice..
it was a local post van and geared for the mountain roads.. hence its height..
I like the original look and will leave as it is..
