You've got too much time on your hands sk!

Having read the other tales of woe I feel quite lucky. The van's till 'in transit' and am really looking forward to getting it home even if I cannot drive it.

It's home!

Everyone here has taken a look and declared it to be superb. Some detail work inside to do but all fine, comfy seats, large r&r bed, seatbelts, a form of 240v hookup and a Devon cooker to make me feel at home.

I may also have tracked down the last owner in the US, somewhere called Big Bear Lake. The van has to be called Big Bear!

Pheww!!

Lovely bus mate, well done !
I'm soon to be collecting my '68 tin top-with a 100 mile first drive home. Wonder how far I'll get :?

Cheers dude! Now imagine it lowered and with BRMs...

Took it down to the local garage to get the clutch done this morning. That was an interesting mile, starting it in gear and drifting round the block!

I put my first bus up for sale twice i was so peed with it, I had a year of teething problems, one thing after another, felt like i'd replaced most of the bus. once it was set up right it was amazing and trouble free, now I've started again :?

Join the club Ash, I've got my bus MOT'd 2 weeks ago and I've driven it 3 times because of teething problems

Norwich 3 Swansea 1....'tis one disappointing saturday after another

What's this - support any team with a rustic accent?!! In the 30 mins before half time it could easily have been 2-2, but some days it just doesn't work out. Anyway I'm now well over 80 league grounds and fifty away grounds with the Swans (not that I'm counting!).

The garage have the engine out and the clutch shaft was what gave way. I'd got all new parts from Coolair including the seal so everything can go on. Ready by Wednesday at the latest it seems!
