hi...my 70 bay with 1865 t1 engine has a kennedy stage 1 clutch...with only around 1000m miles on it....
problem is i now have a spinning ..whinning noise ...with clutch pedal up or down..but more when down...
gears shift fine and clutch feels fine ???? did have the engine out last week for oil seals change...any thought what could be the problem...help !!!!

no not checked it..is there any checks i can do before i have to drop the engine ??

probably a release bearing clip come off ...........also check the clutch arm is retained properly ive had the circlip come off making the clutch arm move all over the place and smashed the release bearing up........you can tell by pulling on the clutch arm (where the cable attaches ) it will be sloppy and not retained ;)

either way drop engine and have a look whats going on :msn4:
