I don't have an iphone, ipad or any other type of tablet, no xbox, PS3 or Wii. The ipod I have is 9 years old, clunks along and only works when plugged into the mains; I guess my only other luxury is Sky HD.

I'm quite tempted by a Kindle Fire but it would mainly be used for browsing and a few apps for the kids. I just can't bring myself to spend money on all this lifestyle tech.

So.....what is that computer-shaped thing that you used to make that posting?

I reluctantly got an iPhone and admit I do kinda like it, but other than a laptop that's it for me  Facebook? Na! Twitter? Don't think so  besides I don't do anything anyone would be remotely interested in, and I like it that way 8)

I work in the world of telco, I'm stuck all week with the junk, so at home I do not even have a computer, I only carry a cell phone because the company gives me one ......for my money I could do with out the TV as well, but the wife MUST have her soaps... :D

little nexus 7 tab i use. £200 and does everything i need. i am around computers and gizmos all day as a penetration tester, so its nice to get away from it all. however i prefer minimal tech when i get home, nothing intrusive nor a focal point.

play with computers, companies and people with computers, test security or lack thereof.

the 70's porn moustache is purely decorative honest.

kindles have just had a good slaggin on watchdog...
only built to last for 3 yrs,

no way. planned obsolescence on a consumer product ! what ever next.

not seen the watchdog on kindles yet, but they are built super cheap so there have to be flaws, tbh be honest though we have 1st and second gen kindles in the family, used every day and treated hard all working great still hold a charge etc.

what was in the program/? what made them bad?

no ipad or iphone, we do have a ps3 as it's simpler for catchup TV and the kids play the games. No freeview recorder or sky.

I am thinking of a table though so I can leave the work laptop at work and use something bigger than my phone to browse the www.

I am a Apple whore I have the lot

Although I don't have a Iphone 5 yet... I had to cancel my order as the Westy developed a leak and stole the funds
