I work in a building that has an underground car park...the building has about a 1000 people in it. Well today I was lucky enough to get a space. Just after I got in and was parking up the fire alarm went off and the building was evacuated....the fire engines turned up and all sorts.

Anyway its my van thats getting the blame! Apprently the sensor near the space I was parked in went off. I'm not convinced but I guess our vans don't have all the fancy cats etc of modern cars.....

Anyway I think thats me out of the car park for good! Can't wait to start up tonight!!!

ps....the van is fine!

Too rich, burning oil, both will add a "soot" to the exhaust...you didnt strike up you camping stove and get the kettle on the boil by any chance....

it must have been that camp fire that I lit up in the space next to me...the sausages were a bit fatty!

I've told them I think their alarms are too sensitive...and that they shoudn't simply blame the oldest vehicle in the car park!

not looking forward to starting up tonight as I generally get a puff on smoke on start up....

I'm surprised it will fit in an underground car park, the height restriction is usually quite low?

Must be a tin top lowered right down 8)
