 below is a diagram of how I THINK i have to go about installing my ICT's.
Got the Punnet guide off sparkywig ta, but just wanted a kinda masterplan/sheet/diagram for
my own sanity.
As you will see, it is beautifully detailed and drawn and then photoed :D :msn4:

I have no clue as to whether i am 100% correct, so any help/suggestions/advice is greatly
appreciated.

cheers
potts van gogh ! (i have both ears tho  :D )

I would say that's how mine is set up except for the vac pipe going to the dizzy. I don't have one and the filter king pressure reducer. It's in the right place but you need a filter before the fuel pump to stop all the crud getting into it.

I'm in the process of getting a pressure reg on mine, I was going down the filter king route till I spoke to my local motorsports place and as he said if you got a filter fitted then just go for the cheaper pressure reg.

dont know if you need the balance pipe, not got one on my itcs but if you manafolds tapped then its ok.just keep the pipe work tidy and secured 8)

You might also want/need an anti-pulse valve on the vacuum line to the dissy :)

If you tap your own manifolds for the balancer pipe barbs be sure to grease your tool (sorry couldn't resist).
The alloy is soft and so 'tears' rather than cutting cleanly if you don't - I didn't..

Cheers for that

There cp manifolds pre drilled :D so that's why I thought makes sense to fit the balance pipe.

that looks pretty much exactly how mine have gone together, except i put a pressure gauge in after the regulator, dials make me look like i know what I'm doing :D

not got it in let alone running yet, so hoping its right.

looks right - I'm not sure you have to add a filter pre mech pump, most of the reason it's before is because it's best positioned near to the tank and not in a potentially warm engine bay - although this fact is possibly not correct as, if all the seals are in the top of the engine should be 'cool' and under the tinware is 'hot' and dangerous to plastic filters.

and I'm not exactly sure if the pump itself needs to have crud avoidance? never had one apart.

One other thing is use good quality fuel pipe - volksbolts does the A1 marine stuff, and you can get reducers if you need to go from 5.5mm [6mm] to 8mm (just noticed they do 5mm to 8mm!]http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nylon-Barbed-Straight-REDUCER-Silicone-Hose-Connector-Fuel-Pipe-Joiner-Water?item=140691982567&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D4%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7977052980771998873#ht_1737wt_1037

And lastly use good fuel clips.

##I may put a gauge on the pre-regulated side as I'm curious to see what the pressures in the fuel lines between pump and regulator are when the float needle valves shut...
#anyone know this???
