Hi..... looking for advice on putting in an oil pressure gauge.... actually the gauge is in, and then came to putting in the new oil pressure sender unit in the engine bay to replace the oil pressure switch - ie this item:

... but it doesnt fit, it is obstructed by the pipes above it. I've taken a picture of the area.... please bear with me, first of all excuse me if I am being really thick, but this is the oil pressure switch to be replaced.... isn't it? What have I got wrong, as from reading other posts on the subject this was supposed to be an easy job!! Having got the recent copy of 'Keeping your Bus Alive 5' there is a full engine picture on page 10 that shows the oil pressure switch on the side of the casting, whereas mine is pointing upwards....
I've always presumed its a 1600 engine (1971 crossover bay) but no idea if original or not.
Any help appreciated.
