Finally got round to treating the old bus - front panel repaired and repainted after 27 years of having the spare up there.
Also now lowered with a Foksy adjuster on front beam set up for about 2" drop, front shocks changed for beetle gas-ajusts - what an improvement in the handling ! Rear not lowered since she is a bit saggy anyway but I also wanted a slightly front down stance - what do you think, should I have gone lower ?
New wheels are OE Porche 356 replicas (5.5 x 15) which I think suit the van with the original chrome domes, and tyres are 185/65/15 Pirelli P4's.
Hope you like the new look .

I'd say the stance is spot on - love the slight leaning forward stance 8)
but like they say, sort out the rear end - sounds like the shocks to me :!:

I also love the oe Porsche rims - would love a set for mine one day - much
cooler than alloys 8) :D

hi all,
last time i posted pics i hadnt lowered the rear but have finally got round to it, here are some shots - lowered by only one spline but 2.5" nearer the ground - those mudflaps they are a-scrapin! stance is now level but i might tweak the Foksy and bring the front down a bit more.
