Orientation of front engine SEAL below fuel tank firewall

Hello,

The rubber seal for the front tin is angled which way should it point?

Should it point up or down when installed?

Engine still out and don't want to redo it with engine in.

I assume it should be pointing up?

Just to help with a free bump I would say down so when the engine is pushed in the pointy bit would be almost 90 degrees. And it would look neater :lol:

I don't really remember but I have an incling that it's pointing up.

I know mine is pointing down. Doesn't mean it's correct, as I fitted it :lol:

Sounds like it might not even matter...

By long as its doing it's job by sealing does it matter - though mine is facing sown
