We want to re do our seats and keep them totally original.

Where does everyone recommend looking for the best original type material?

Would you do them yourself or have them done by a company?

You are probably looking for off white basket weave TMI covers.

We do TMI Interior Products to order

I got a set of TMI covers for my 65 bug from JK and fitted them myself, well happy with the product but miffed with the 16 week turn-round....

I bought TMI covers for my front seats, excellant fit and quality. Don't bother with the TMI seat foam I found it too thin, go for the horse hair pads or thicker foam and cut to shape. Make sure you use the thick fibre blanket type stuff that goes between the foam and the seat cover, this will protect the seat cover and your arse if your seat breaks a spring.

Yes very important to cover the springs to protect your foam from getting munched,

We generally run on an 8 week turn around with TMI.
