Having gone through two MK2 16V GTI's, I now have this 89 GTI Cabby as my daily....

This is my other ride, or daily. A 1.9TDi Passat. Slammed on coilies and remapped to 150bhp
Just a couple of thousand from 260,000 on the clock and still pulls like train, uses no oil or water either!
Not worth much to many people, but to me, he's priceless!

still gotta finish some stuff up but here's the pan. I built a 10" narrowed beam, avis adjusters, drop spindles, shortened the pan head 1 3/8", pie cut the pan head 3/8", raised the rear floor sections, 2" trans raise. Still need to build drop plates and eliminate the jacking points.

Have a good night! :)

Hi fellas

This was my first VW - bought it from Ebay for £400 and then spent quite a bit more getting it looking the way I wanted, ended up with a 16v KR transplant instead of the old tired 8v motor.

Then traded up to a cheeky 300BHP MK5 GTI with loads of performance mods and uprated goodies

Which was then sold to fund the camper purchase and resto

And now my daily is a mighty TDI Bora I got off Vzi 130bhp of DERV power

This sums it up, my daily Passat 1.8T and the Mk1 Golf on its way to storage making way for the van in the garage. I want to complete the restoration on the Golf this year. It's a 1977 Bahama Blue Metallic. Not many around in that Og colour.
