Cheers guys, believe it or not I worked it out and that photos ten years old now :shock: I think proves its a timeless classic.

Currently locked away in my dad's garage but will return one day very soon.

Thought I would sneak in a few pics of my old veedubs....

The first of many... the beetle that is. Summer 87 with future missus.

jacked in my job in 94, picked this up from a scrappy in Devizes, fixed the roof where an old car had been sitting on it, and set off for Gibraltar.

Three days later in Gib! If anyone has one of these racks could they let me know?

Back in 89. The blue beetle I restored from a £25 wreck. The oval/split never got finished... wonder where it is now.

The two bugs on the lhs of the top pic are both magazine feature cars! Volksworld for the Baja and Custom Car for the purple one if I remember rightly!
