As of today , we are the new proud owners of this '89 Westfalia , it will be my wife's daily , we been wanting one for a while but finally got one that was within the budget.
Bought it at an insurance auction with a burnt engine so it is a project , but the interior is intact.
We'll get a new engine , replacement rear door (fireman put a nick on it to open it) a bit of paint on the damage areas , new tires and ready to go.
Here are some pictures , it's in Los Angeles so I don't see it until I come back from Vanfest.

Aside from my sleeping Hardtop 70 Westy that I'm collecting parts for. Here's what else I can be spotted driving. I'm not sure what it is but I always seem to end up with L87 pearl white VW's.

OG paint 65 notch with a few subtle accesories.

I just found this thread and I'm quoting part of Ruptured Tortoise's post that he made back in 2007.

I bought Ingrid from him a little over a year ago. I didn't recall him saying she had a name though. I haven't come up with one so I'm glad I found his post. Her name will live on. :)

Here she is now in 2012
