Panel Van Sliding Door WIndow Help

I'm looking to fit glass to the sliding door, but how do you finish the inside of the door?

The triplex glass is larger than the 'cut out' in the inner skin

Do you trim back the skin right to the top?

I've managed to do the opposite side, but that was just a flat panel

Anyone got a photo of how their PV conversion is finished?

The PO of my panel van installed Jalouse type windows and cut the inner panel to allow the window to fit into place.

I replaced the window with metal to bring it back to a panel. Here you can see the inside where the PO cut the area for the window to fit.

Ouch! I can see why you got rid of the window :shock:

It looks like I have to trim it all away then, not sure if that needs doing before I cut the outer panel though in case it interferes with the jig saw blade
