Going to lower the rear of my 71 with adjustable springplates. My concern is that the offset of my BRM replicas is pretty crap and the tyres just clear the rear arches outer lip. I'm worried that if I go lower I may rub.
I've just seen TransporterHaus advertise shortened rear stub axles and wonder if these will give me more wheel clearance on the rear arches, or are they used for other reasons?
Also I can't see how much these stub axles cost?

Cheers

Alex is doing spring plates for borrowed rear ends, but that might be too much for what your after. Looks like small rear tyres, 175's or so, tho the back end does tuck in a bit when its lowered, the tyres just 'squeek' a bit as the squeeze past the arch when you drop it back on the floor.

What are borrowed rear ends?
