Hi all as in the title are opening windscreens any good and are they easy to fit
Do they seal ok
Thanks

I cant imagine they will seal well to be honest. Most split screen safaris leak and they were factory designed and are flat units.

Are they any good is a subjective question, but good at what? I'm struggling to see why the need for an opening windscreen exists? Bays have plenty of front ventilation when driving, and driving without a windscreen in any vehicle gets tedious very quickly. I can see they are eye catching when they have been fitted to one off custom vans, but as a an off the shelf option for owners to fit? nonsense, imo. :)

Bit like lowering, some will like and some won't. It just can't be as good as stock but it does look well wicked. Water in the fuse box , not my favourite I'm afraid. Now if we lived in Californeeee might be more interested in it.

Ozziedog,, ,,,does look the biz

Seen some pictures of these, probably quite fun, but a fair amount of weight for that one hinge and a couple of stays. And as Clem rightly says, they're bound to leak. Not sure how much they are, but believe it's just under a grand?
