Ive got a set of teledials to go on my 71 and want to get some adaptors, are there any makes/sizes that i should be going for?, im bit of a Porsche newbie as it were so any help appreciated. Cheers ;)

some info, i have teledials that are 6j et52 15" and want to fit to a 71 so has small 5x112 pcd, would i be right in saying that i just need a 25mm adaptor plate to fit them? and am i right in saying they are 5x130pcd.
I have also seen some polished teledials and am guessing i could get mine to look the same also.

Sorry for all the questions but before i spend £150 on adaptors i want to know im getting the right stuff ;)

:? can anyone help

cheers

Hi Chippi, Don't know if this helps but I am in the process of fitting some NSU fuch (5/130) wheels to my bay, a 71 also. Got some adapters from butty, they are good quality and fit nicely (25mm). The offset of the NSU's is pretty good with the adapters, I am also having the original wheel nuts machined down a tad as they stuck out a little (1-2 mm) in the adapter, preventing the wheel from sitting flush, though you can buy these slim nuts new (how much! :shock: ).
One thing i might do is add some kind of locater to the adapters for the wheels to sit on, just seems a little safer to me. Luckily there is a machine shop next door to where the van is stored, they seemed to think it would be an easy job.
Hope this helps
Martin :D

These should do the job.

if your wheels are et 52 with these adaptors they will take the et down to 52-25mm = et27

Should be fine, although i'm not sure what ET factory wheels are.

Cheers guys, this Butty fella ,is he on vzi? i will look at machine 7 as well thanks

Butty can be found here :) http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=339996&highlight=butty" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.kinkymicks.com/product_info.php?products_id=40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

sells them for £100.

i have a set and they are good quality, dont go for thin ones as depending on the wheel (eg cookie cutters) it wont clear the studs.
