Public liability insurance

Guys, I know a few of you on here do wedding transport with your vans, I’ve done a few myself for friends and people that I know , word has got out and I’m getting a lot of people asking me to do it now. What sort of cost is the public liability insurance for doing this? Not sure wether to push this forward a bit and try making a few quid out of it or just do the odd few that get in touch with me.

Also, what on average do people charge for this? It’s usually only a few hours work.

It’s pretty cheap, under £200 a year, depends on exactly what you need, but generally between £80-200

I’m not sure but there may also be a difference between doing a wedding and a prom which are really popular now so it may be worthwhile checking.

I could be wrong, but just something in the back of my mind.
