The fairy liquid must be an English thing. Never heard of washing your car with dish washing up liquid before I got to the UK.

My father in law takes it a step further and uses a broom to scrub it. He assures me it's fine as it has soft brissles and he has seen them in the car washing places.

I used Collinite 476. Really excellent stuff. Easy to get on and gives a great shine. Also makes the rain bead and just roll off. Very impressed with it.

Another for the 476. Great beading, bird crap comes off easilly, really shines well. Impressed with this more than Autoglym i have used for years. It's a wax, not polish, so wont have the t cut like effect if you need to remove a blemish, which is why i still keep my super resin polish to polish any scuffs, like the marks on the rear bumper where i scuffed a traffic cone when parking.

The 476 has no powdery residue, which is better than autoglym. It even when on the rubber parts and gave them a little sheen too, and looks well on the patina'd front bumper

It's a plus from me!

Cheers!

Spray 'n' shine is a good one. Spray on, wipe off with one cloth and buff up with another. The shine is unbelievable! It does rubber, metal, the lot. 8)
