I have some transporterhaus adj spring plates to match my 3.5" dropped spindles on the front. I nearly have my rear hubs off ready to swap them out.

1. How many nobs do I chop off the bump stops (There are three in total)
2. To remove the plate itself (under tension) : From what I have seen I remove the spring plate cover and put the end of the spring plate on a trolley jack. Then tap out the spring plate so it's over the 'ledge' and take the trolley jack down slowly to release the tension and it will then rotate over the lip. I then remove the plate and put the new one on. Can I just put it on in exactly the same position as the old one (as the new adj one is hipped already and adjustable)? Or do I still have to rotate it 1 spline?

Thanks for any help!
