rear axle

can any one help/advise . are rear stub axles longer /shorter . the problem i have is i've just changed rear brake drums for creative engineering ones so can fit porsche patern wheels without using adaptors ,the castle nut goes on further than before but there's still abit of play on the shaft not enough thread on shaft ' also when wheel goes on centre cap is pushed off thanks any one

Did you fit the new seal spacer that's listed in the CE ad? maybe that's the trouble...the hubs do stick out alot, and you can't fit a standard centre cap, although I don't know the solution to this.
