I need new backing plates (well at least one) for my rear brake drums (68 bay), previously posted on here and as advised they are extremely hard to find. I was biding on a pair on e-bay and the guy took them off sale and sold privately for £200!

Does anyone know roughly what a disc conversion would cost or if its worth just hanging on till I find a backing plate? Brakes are working ok but make a horrible squeeling noise as one of the plates has been bashed into place to make it fit!

It wont let me attach a photo, I can e-mail or text it to you?

It is the rear drivers side (right hand drive).

Thanks a lot
Nick

I also think I have some but will need picture to check if I have the ones you need .
Thanks

This is I believe the correct one (on the left hand rear wheel of my van). So I'd need the right hand version of this...http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t367/earlybaynick/IMG_1057.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
