Hi. I'm needing a new rear hatch seal for my 1970 as the one it's wearing is a hotch potch and the door is leaking. Which supplier is the best to buy one from as I want the German quality and not the Brazillian. Just Kampers list one saying it's not a pattern one but don't specify if it's German or not. CoolAir list the Brazillian one only. German camper co list the German one and VW Heritage list three, one being supposidly for all years, but has square corners making it ideally suited for 64-71 models.
They also list another thats for 8/71 - 79 models.
The one for mine is special order only. Anyone know if the others will fit properly without leaking or if there is another supplier that may have one in stock for a 1970 model?
I also didn't realise there were differences in tailgates/hatches.
Cheers, Shaun. :)

Using JK seals you may aswell open the rear hatch and spray a pressure washer in the back

Use Custom & Commercial for your seals IMO.

Cobblers - I fit them all the time and they're top notch.
