Rear tailgate seal channel

Hi all,

You may have seen our new 1st ever project early bay.

On inspection it needs a full rear n/s corner. The seal channel between the rear corner and tailgate is shot in places, does anyone know where i can get a replacement part as i can see one in any of the catalogues that i have. Or am i going to have to fabricate a new part out of plate?

You can get complete corners but for a later bay.

There must be some early NOS rear corners kicking about but £££££££

Might be worth seeing if you can make a repair panel out of a late bay rear, or give Graham a call at FBI he might be able to get you a complete rot free early one.
