Hi :)

Our rear view mirror is knackered, the plastic has disintegrated completely, probably a result of all that californian sunshine. I know that as it's a 1968, it's a one year only (pricey!) replacement BUT as it is a LHD, I find the mirror is quite intrusive in your field of vision. Does anyone know of a replacement available that will fit the original screw holes but is a shorter arm?

Cheers! :D

I think that a slightly later one should work say a 1970 one

70 onwards are a twist in design, so you will need a 68 or 69 which are all screw fitment. You may be able to find a screw on from something else from a general autojumble or ebay etc.

Hey we found a solution for this! A cheap wide mirror from ebay that had a ball fitting on it. We removed the old mirror from the stem and screwed the new one on. A cheap and working solution for less than a fiver!
