just before i go out and buy a new bairing for my bus i thought id ask if anybody has had the cv joint replaced on there bus ,as im thinking it could be this thats the prob,i get a droning sound when taking right corners that stops when i go around left corners but as well as that ,also gets worse when not aplying throtle(say when slowing from 50 down to the lights)any ideas?

Jack it up and grip the wheel try to move it side to side this should rule out/confirm the bearings have excessive play.
Now grab the drive shaft and see what play you have there.
Check the boots and repack with grease. (its cheap and will allow you to evaluate again).
