Rear wheel widths

Hi All,

anybody know what the widest rim size is you can get in the rear of an EarlyBay without too much modification?

I am having plans.....

Depends what you define as too many modifications?
I have 7inch wide rear tyres on the back of mine however that did require some narrowing of the torsion tubes, suspension mountings and other areas. The wheels have an offset of 1.260" and a backspace of 2.560"
Tyres are 195/60/15

its more to do with offset than width,

I run 6J rims with no issues 205/70/15 tyres.

I believe there are people with 8J's on the rear.
