Red Oxide

How long can you leave your van primered with red oxide?


Just trying to work out how long i have to get all the bodywork/rust sorted before spraying a top coat.

or would you sort a panel/area and then primer and top coat, then fix the next panel until all done and then give it a final top coat?

It depends on the red oxide, some is porous, some isn't...my van has spent nearly 2 years as the daily, including 2 winters, and where the red oxide was thick enough :roll: it's fine

Try and paint it all at once rather than doing it a panel at a time
