Refitting Rear Springplates

I'm going to refit the springplates to achieve standard height (previously lowered) before fitting boomerang plates. How do I lift the plates up and at the same time push them into position before bolting the cover plates on? Many thanks.

I raised mine with a bottle jack and then tapped them in with a hammer.

just talc up the rubbers as they go in too stop the squeeking!
