Managed to get hold of a remote starter switch so i can work on the engine in the van on my own, but what terminals on the starter motor do i connect across?

One on the large terminal with the incoming battery power cable on it and one on the small spade type connector which is responsible for pulling the solenoid in  . it would be safer to attach one to the battery positive terminal to get your feed and one to the solenoid spade connector. I wouldn't want to be stuck under the van if you shorted something out or accidentally operated the started motor with the van in gear  , be careful

So 1 of the crimped cables and the battery positive, Cheers will allow me to play without needing the wife to crank the engine all the time
