Hi,

I want to sort out the leaking roof of my Devon camper once & for all and have read that the best way is to cover the centre piece with vinyl, but to do that the roof has to come off.

So, how do I remove the Devon pop top from my van?

Thanks

drill out all the pop rivits that hold the bellows on around the top of the roof and then unbolt the 4 corners, its a right bitch of a job, do you need to remove the bellows as well? something to note, cut the vinal bigger than u think you need it because when i did mine i stuck it on and it looked great but after a few weeks and changes in temperature the vinal contracted leaving a 1/4 inch gap all the way round :(

yep get ya drill out. my roof was completely shot even the inner alu bit. so done away with canvas and only kept the metal rim. bolted a JK fibreglass cover to this so that the bellows could still be attached and didnt bother with canvas. :) A slighty cheaper fair weather alternative.
