Can anyone suggest what's good to remove the old glue from the seat bases? The old Mats must have been spray glued on, what's left is very hard to remove! Tried paint thinners but it's having none of it. Any advice?

For the exact same job (getting the glue off the cab/front seat area where the mats had been) I used petrol. Brush it on, leave it for a few seconds then it comes off easily.
Just make sure you're outside and well ventilated.
