Removing TP inlet manifold ends with engine in place

I think this can be done but am currently struggling.
Is it easier to just take the engine out?

I converted mine from single to twin carbs without removing the engine!
Couldnt be arsed to remove the towbar again

I just lowered the engine down on a jack after disconnecting and removing the moustache bar/accelerator cable and wires

It's is possible in situ but is a fiddle, I did mine by raising the fan housing as much as I could which only just gives you the clearance to remove manifolds. Time wise there ain't much in it between removing engine or in situ, it's a killer on the old back in situ though!!

I've done the struggle & aching back approach so I'll drop the engine & be done with it.
