I have had quite enough of futzing around with the plastic pushbutton cabinet handle on my ‘71. I’ve replaced it twice through the decades of ownership. Recently, in a fit of pique over the futility of tightening screws into stripped plastic threads, I have instead opted to spend a small fortune on this widget:

It might be nice if you posted the source. I met the guy who makes these at Bus City in California a couple of years ago, but I lost his contact info. I can vouch that these are good products.

I can read the telephone number on the card, but can't remember if he had a web site. Search engines seem to be no help.
